The Embassy of Hungary in Vietnam / Đại sứ quán Hungary tại Việt Nam is looking for a full time

CONSULAR ASSISTANT for a 1 year period (with the possibility of extension).

The deadline for the application is 10 October, 2016.


1. Providing customer service to Vietnamese and foreign citizens

2. Recording the applications in IT system, filing documents

3. Preparing translations and supporting the work of the consular section of the Embassy

4. Interpreting for the consular section

5. Keeping contact with Vietnamese authorities

6. Assistance in arranging diplomatic events: receptions, official meetings etc.


. Language skills: Vietnamese as native language, excellent command of English in writing as well

as orally

. Education: University education, at least BA or BSc degree

. Experience: at least 1 year experience in public administration, international relations, customer

service or at a diplomatic mission/international organization

. Competent User of Microsoft Office and Internet

. Skills and abilities: good working in team, accuracy, reliability and discretion

. Knowledge of Hungarian and/or French language is a preference.

Starting date: the end of November, 2016
