1.   PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERING INTERN

Job Descriptions

  • This position is for an enthusiastic, passionate pre-graduate who wants to gain working experience as a Product Development Engineer (PDE) in Intel’s Manufacturing Validation Engineering (MVE). In this role you’ll be expected to participate in global teams to enable Intel’s product roadmap

Responsibilities for this position include the following

  • Performing evaluation and debug of new test program
  • Resolving product/manufacturability issues related to product testing hardware and software
  • Performing data analysis and deploying solutions to improve test coverage, yield, hardware capacity, and other product health indicators
  • Development and debug of support software to support test program validation, data analysis and test debug

Job Requirements

  • The successful candidate will be a 2017 Bachelor Graduate in Electrical -Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relevant majors
  • Expected graduation month: during Apr – Aug 2017
  • Expected internship duration: 6 months minimum (to be extended if the interns performs properly and can make time)

2.               MICRO-CONTAMINATION ENGINEER

Job Descriptions

  • Is the single Point of Contact for all cleanroom related issues – content expert
  • Is the owner for ensuring Cleanroom ISO compliance & Final Cleanroom Certification
  • Responsible for overall Cleanroom health and contamination control in the clean room space
  • Supports all environmental/architectural changes, tool layout proposals and Mfg. Tool Changes/upgrades in the cleanroom

3.               ASSEMBLY EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST

Job Descriptions

  • Job Description: Manufacturing Technicians perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipments, process and training
  • Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization
  • Responsible for running lots in a qualitative way
  • Also, responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining. In addition, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability
  • The Manufacturing Technician may be responsible for the buddy, trainer, and certifier levels and is in charge of updating training manuals
  • May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required
  • Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters
  • High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations

  • Assembly Equipment Specialist (ES)
  • Assembly ES performs corrective and preventive maintenance and sustaining for Modules at Assembly Engineering
  • The Equipment Specialist is a technical expert in order to operate & sustain the production line (including Level 1/ Level 2 and Preventive Maintenance tasks)
  • In addition, the ES is a contributor for improvement of processes and equipment
  • The ES is able to show leadership across MTs within the same module to address shift to shift issues
  • Must have a 3 years and above technical college Diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical or similar discipline
  • Must be pre-intermediate proficiency in English, can effectively speak, write, read and understand
  • Hardworking and having ambition on career development
  • Be able to work as an individual and team projects
  • Willing to continue working on 12-hour shift/48 hours per week

4.               PUBLIC AFFAIRS PROGRAM MANAGER

Job Descriptions

  • Public Affairs Program Manager is responsible for creating, defining and driving strategies, programs, and communications that reinforce Intel’s position as a well-respected employer, valued corporate citizen and supportive of our license to operate
  • These activities are directed to key stakeholders internal and external to the company
  • Serves as the primary media contact in the local site
  • Will also serve as a point of contact with key external stakeholders in education and environmental communities, especially partners with whom Intel supports through local grants
  • Drives positive coverage, both internally and externally, of Public Affairs programs and engagements, including developing stories that represent the work of Intel Vietnam for use internal and external to the company through social media, marketing, and local pitches
  • May also be required to support and manage potentially negative stories in site communities. Builds positive relationships with external and internal communications professionals by knowing how to work with each medium and how to produce appropriate content
  • Serve as Government Affairs person in working with the government entities in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) when needed (Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP), various Departments of the City People’s Committee) to represent Intel on specific topics/issues

  • A successful candidate should obtain a Master or a BS/BA degree with at least 3 years of experience or equivalent in multinational companies
  • In addition, the candidate is required to have excellent public speaking, writing, and editing skills and the ability to handle confidential information frequently and appropriately
  • Candidate requires to have strong English and Vietnamese communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to work well under pressure within a team environment and with all levels of management, as well as work independently and proactively with minimal direction

5.               DESIGN PROGRAM MANAGER

Job Descriptions

  • As a Design Program Manager, you will play a significant role in helping to lead the facility programming and design efforts for world class semiconductor facility and building projects
  • You will be responsible for managing a team of external architectural/ engineer design consultant to deliver programming and design services for the construction of Intel facilities

Some of the key responsibilities of your team include but not limited to

  • Managing the permitting and agency compliance along with all third party engineering and design needs
  • Overall design scope write-up to meet the project goals and intend
  • Review Architecture Engineering (AE) design to ensure compliance to Intel’s Master Design Standards
  • Design coordination and technical support during construction
  • Ensure construction material, facilities systems and components procure meets Intel’s Master Construction Specifications
  • Responsible for all design and performance indicator (CSI) for your team (e.g. # of undesired change order, design cost, Performance Against Schedule, etc

6.               HIGHER EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS MANAGER

Job Descriptions

  • Higher Education and Community Affairs (HE&CA) manager will be a key member of the PA Vietnam team and be responsible for implementing key components of Intel Products Vietnam initiatives included but not limit to working with the government partners (Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), US Embassy/Consulate), with university partners
  • Arizona State University (ASU) and many local partners under Higher Engineering Education Alliance Program (HEEAP), also working significantly with internal/external stakeholders to maximize the Intel branding image and CSR messaging upon the strong impact of the volunteering culture and impactful programs to support License to Operate in Vietnam

Responsibilities include (but no limited to)

  • Work with education partners to ensure the successful and timely implementation of the HEEAP and post HEEAP programs
  • Assume the full ownership of all Vietnam-based program requirements such as coordinating with ASU to select vocational female students, and other Vietnam-based activities and communication strategy under his/ her supervision
  • Plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate community programs with IISC charter and also sponsor volunteer projects for site-wide employees
  • Develop new community initiatives and partnerships with local government officials, socialize with other community leaders and key stakeholders
  • Maintain and enhance positive relationships, dialogues with local communities where we deploy our programs and activities
  • Assist PA Director in media relations and government relations areas with and without related issues/events to assure VNAT’s positive reputation as the trusted partner and the employer of choice
  • Develop the press release and talking points for sharing with external audience about the Intel investment, education programs and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives

  • The candidate also requires to have clear vision and commitment to work and grow with Intel at least in a period of 3-years so that Public Affairs Director can develop as the potential pipeline for site leadership positions
  • The candidate needs to be able to coordinate complex projects and work with a geographically distributed team to achieve results in their areas of ownership
  • The candidate should demonstrate his/her ability to build up and maintain the relationship with these stakeholders to achieve the best ROI to Intel upon the project completion
  • In addition, necessary soft skills including attention to details, strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills are also required
  • The candidate with strong experiences in working with government entities, especially in the education sector, and student related activities will be a plus
