1/ Agronomist Supervisor - Moc Chau  

MISSION STATEMENT

To supervise the GAP sourcing system from Farmers/Supplier, according to:Develop, instruct, consult and monitor GAP system for Farmers/Suppliers.Make sure production plan with Farmers/Supplier and GAP volume

ROLE

• Coordinate with Quality Auditor, Platform team and other the relevant people (inside or outside of platform team) to full fill his/her tasks

• Functionally report to Category Manager/Head of Ultra Fresh the progress of jobs assigned. Consult the superiors for any deviation or issue needed support or advice from them..

KEY RESULT AREAS

• Supervise and recap agronomist assist activity and also working with Farmers/Suppliers to instruct/consult/control them to follow GAP Standard, the points as below:

- Traceability

- Field information and control

- Garbage control

- Seed using

- Water using

- Fertilizer using

- Pesticide using

- Harvest and packaging products

- Co-operation responsibility

• Make the production plan with Farmers/Suppliers to make sure GAP volume produce

• Find and develop new Farmers/Suppliers to follow GAP Standard

• Develop Own brand for certified GAP products

• Assist Category Manager for assigned responsibility.

• Co-operate with Quality Auditor to do corrective action and follow with Suppliers/Farmers to correct/close when Quality Auditor found non conformity points from Suppliers/Farmers and control the quality of GAP product from farm to platform.

• Weekly report to Agronomist Supervisor/Category Manager about GAP following from Farmers/Suppliers and immediately report any issue that needs to be solve quickly

• Assist to establish procedure/process to consult GAP program as required by the superiors•

Assist to establish quality requirement profile for own brand as required by the superiors

• Assist to establish process of producing under GAP for all products.

• Fulfill quality records/reports according to assigned responsibility

• Commit to self-development and enrichment of the knowledge and skills by planning and attending agreed training courses

PEOPLE SPECIFICATIONS

• University degree, preferably in agronomy or food chemistry

• Minimum 2 year working in agronomist in F&V/ F&V receiving / F&V sourcing/ F&V buying.

• Have knowledge on standards of quality systems in food area (GAP/GMP/HACCP/…)

• Good communication (and listening) and negotiation skills

• Good in English

• Abilities to use computer, especially in Word, Excel and office-communication system

• Self-disciplined with ability to work at night shift or under high pressure

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to earn respect and trust from peers, subordinates and external parties including governmental bodies and customers

2/ Quality Assurance Coordinator 

MISSION STATEMENT

  • For own brand food and bakery own product:
    • To ensure:
    • The registration scheme of own brand food products in local market
    • The compliance of bakery own product quality with relevant regulation
  • For other purchased food products: to ensure the compliance of relevant regulation implementation

ROLES

  • Coordinate with relevant people (inside or outside of QA department) to ensure the schedule and the success of jobs , plans and projects assigned
  • Report to Quality System Manager any deviations found out in stores and suggest the corrections

KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Own brand related tasks: contact and coordinate with relevant people (Offer Management Dept., Own Brand Dept., Legal Advisor, Supplier’s technical people, Authorities, Servicing Companies …) to:
    • Collect necessary information, documents and other relevant materials
    • conduct sampling plans, sample analysis (reference analysis, initial lab. test, conformity test …) and make corresponding reports
    • Review supplier profiles, product passports, manual instructions, guarantee cards and labels
    • Establish requirement profiles
    • Audit supplier’s quality management system
    • Prepare official documents for MM Mega Market standards declaration
    • Carrying out product monitoring programs
    • Handling customer complaints, cooperate with relevant people to analyze and find out corrective actions for product quality problems or for technically defected products, then follow up the suppliers' correction plans in Metro’s Stores.
    • Give feedback and advice to Offer Management team and supplier, if necessary
  • International own brand related tasks: contact with relevant people (Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Own brand, Sustainment and Environment, Servicing Companies,…) in MCCI and Metro AG to:
    • Establish requirement profiles, if necessary
    • Review requirement profile, product passport, manual instructions, guarantee cards and labels
    • Collect necessary information, documents and other relevant materials
    • Check Vietnamese labeling for international own brand
  • Purchased product related tasks: contact and coordinate with relevant people (Category Manager, Supplier’s technical people, Legal Advisor, Servicing companies …) to :
    • Collect necessary information, documents and other relevant materials related to product quality
    • Give feedback and advice to Offer Management team and suppliers
    • Collect and update regulations related to Quality Assurance’s scopes and activities, conduct training program if necessary.
  • Other tasks:
    • Crisis management: follow up and participate the process (crisis identification, customer complaint, product returned, product recall …) when being requested.
    • Communications: develop and maintain effective internal communications channel particularly with other departments within the organization to achieve defined targets
    • Self-development: commit to self education and enrichment of the knowledge and skills by planning and attending agreed training courses.
    • Documentation : Cooperate with relevant people to establish standard operating procedures (SOP) which are involved in QA scope and activities

Job Requirement

  • University degree, preferably in food chemical , food technological , industrial or other non food manufacturing industrial faculties (cosmetics, laundry cleaner,…)
  • Minimum 2 years working in quality assurance/quality control in food business or relevant industries
  • Good knowledge in standards of quality systems (GMP/ISO 9000/HACCP/ IFS…)
  • Good communication (and listening) and negotiation skills
  • Good in English
  • Abilities to use computer, especially in Word, Excel and office communication system including intranet and internet
  • Self disciplined with ability to work independently and under stress
  • Strong analytical ability and good in data/figures
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to earn respect and trust from peers, subordinates and external parties including governmental bodies and customers.

4/ Order Desk Staff (Temporary 6months) 

MISSION STATEMENT:

Ensure the achievements of  the following objectives:- Ensure consolidated orders being passed to suppliers both Dry & Non-Food and Fresh & Ultra Fresh timely and accurately- Verify correct information related to ordering activities: product information, supplier’s information, orders lead time and orders frequency then results in increasing PO fill-rate and MU fill-rate- Handle suppliers complaints and/or feedbacks on their deliveries to Central Warehouse

ROLES:

  • Daily sending consolidated orders (PO) to suppliers timely and accurately
  • • Daily checking suppliers delivery performance (PO fill-rate and MU fill-rate)
  • • Daily handling suppliers complaints and/or feedbacks
  • • Coordinate with Supply Chain Management, Offer management, Import-Export, CW Audit team …and LSP team to achieve successfully the above mission statement.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

  • 100% consolidated orders sent to suppliers timely and accurately
  • Increasing PO fill-rare (assuming target is 90%) and MU fill-rate (assuming target is 50%)• 100% successful handling suppliers complaints and/or feedbacks

PEOPLE SPECIFICATIONS:

  •  College degree
  •  Knowledge and experience in distribution, logistics field, quality assurance or related ones.
  •  Ability to think, plan and observation.•  Clear communication, listening, and coaching.•  Can communicate in English•  Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power point).•  Team work, know how to organize , monitor , lead  a team•  Dynamic, honesty and reliability•  Self disciplined with ability to work independently and under pressure
