Philips Morris International Inc (PMI) là công ty thuốc lá hàng đầu thế giới với 6 nhãn hiệu lọt top 15 quốc tế, bao gồm Marlboro, nhãn hiệu thuốc lá số một toàn cầu. Thuốc lá Marlboro đã có mặt tại Việt Nam từ 1994 vá từ tháng 11/2011 được sản xuất dưới hiệp đinh giữa PM Global Brands Inc. và Vinataba-Philip Morris Limited (VPM). Hiện tại thuốc lá Marlboro được phân phối với Chi nhánh của VPM tại thành phố Hồ Chí Minh.

RISE TO THE CHALLENGE

Manage, execute and monitor sales activities via channel partners in designated territory, to achieve key objectives, related to coverage, distribution & availability, product visibility, sales volumes, market share and overall company business goals. Build and leverage territory understanding by collecting and analyzing relevant market and partner information to identify business opportunities within territory; and to propose initiatives to address those opportunities.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Build in-depth territory understanding by conducting regular routed market visits in assigned territories.

- Design optimum coverage of Sub-Wholesale and Key Point of Sale’s for allocated Micro Distributor Sales in assigned territory to maximize impact of investment in their outlets.

- Execute product visibility, P/TPOSM placement and other cycle activities in covered Wholesale outlets in accordance with MerchandisingGuidelines to ensure effective brand communication in covered wholesalers and Micro Distributor Sales covered Point of Sale’s + S(WHS).

- Closely manage channel partners and develop professional relationships with sales operations personnel to drive sales & brand growth within assigned territory.

- Motivate, build morale, and appraise people' performance appropriately together with create a disciplinary working attitude in order to have a fair working environment among sales team members.

- Ensure employee conduct is in compliance with Vinataba - Philip Morris Branch. Principles and Practices & Local Regulations.

RISE TO THE CHALLENGEThe position includes opportunities to implement business building activities within the assigned territory focusing on selected channels through integrated trade and consumer engagement activates executed with excellence in order to maximize reach to relevant adult consumers whilst optimizing Vinataba - Philip Morris' investments to grow sales volume and market shares within the region.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Build relationships with retailers in order to maximize business building (BB) opportunities.

- Manage territory through route planning, call frequency, numeric and weighted coverage principles to maximize effective and efficient territory coverage.

- Implement, monitor and measure trade marketing activities at outlet level.

- Coordinate with Consumer Engagement team to deployment of appropriate consumer engagement activities monitor performance.

- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration to drive sales and market share growth within the territory.

- Monitor sales team performance:

• Deliver key sales indicators target and sales objective from company to Sales team in an effective way to achieve the expected results.

• Keep tracking performance on a regular basis and propose prompt action plan according to fluctuation in the market.

• Set up measurements to ensure sales team's execution to be done properly in any event.

• Look into the results and analyze data to find out the opportunities for development assigned area in line with business requirements.

• Manage, control and utilize company resources (supports from trade programs, point of sales material...) to develop the business.

- Develop sales team organization:

• Plan working schedule in a way of prioritizing support of sales team field execution via process of coaching and training on the job on a monthly basis.

• Assess team and individual performance to Identify the gap and provide the respective improvement plan individually.

• Understand people in the team to utilize the strengths by putting the right person in the right position.

• Motivate and appraise people' performance appropriately together with create a disciplinary working attitude in order to have a fair working environment among sales team members.

• Build up morale, teamwork and competitive working spirit.

• Control and maintain the stability of manpower.

- Customer handling & development:

• Maintain and commit to deliver best service to all customers.

• Build and consolidate to achieve excellent business with Key Account / Wholesales / other key customers in accordance with respective strategies in order to fulfill distribution, pricing and merchandising objectives.

• Monitor the flow of product so as to provide the correct information to the company for producing the efficient plan and development for the market.

- Sales team communication:

• Communicate company's direction to sales team in a right and understandable way for targets, objectives delivery and proper execution of trade programs.

• Educate people to conduct business following by standards and practices of company.

- Reporting:

• Ensure to collect information and send reports as agreed schedule.

• Update field intelligence report on a regular basis and at the right way.

- Assist Line Managers in other activities related to areas in charge.

Note:

- The job description shall be subject to amendment and supplementation from time to time depending on changes of business needs as decided by the Branch.

- The job description is an integral part of labor contract signed between the Branch & the position holder.
